WMCEG needed to call upon Cave rescue on (at least) 3 occasions.

One member suffered a suspected heart attack in Eglwys Faen, possibly brought on by bad-air.

A group in OFD became confused about the route and eventually decided their best option was to sit it out and await rescue (that was my fault, I knew the route well but chose to spend the weekend with a young lady rather than going caving).

God (Dave Rennison) suffered an injury (dislocated shoulder?) and needed a very challenging rescue from Pippikin Pot (YouTube Video of Pippikin Pot) not long after that TV program had explained how difficult/impossible rescue would be from beyond Stemple Squeeze. If I recall correctly Dave was beyond the squeeze but was extracted via a recently discovered second exit.

I do recall a tale of a group years after my last involvement when two members, making an early exit, were swept away and separated by a flood pulse and were lucky to survive.  The rest of the group was further into the system in a dry section and knew nothing of the event. I don’t know if Cave Rescue was involved.  Perhaps someone else can provide more detail.
